Accepting clothing donations

Happy new year from The Clothesline! We enjoyed the winter break and hope that you did too. Now that routines have returned to normal we are accepting clothing donations again at all locations listed on our Donations page. We no longer take donations at our previous location on N Pershing Dr. To donate at our new location, pull up to the parking gate at the entrance to the surface parking lot behind our building at 3330 Washington Blvd and take a paper ticket from the machine. Pull immediately to the right and place your donation in the gray bin. Scan your parking ticket on the way out- if you leave within 15 minutes there is no charge. Please check our Clothing Donation page for information about what we can accept and other donation dropoff locations.

Kicking Off the Fall Season!

We are excited to welcome families back to the store for the fall/winter season.  Eligible school kids can pick out a full week’s worth of clothes to help stay warm at the bus stop or on the playground.  We have two ways to get clothes – make an appointment to shop in the store yourself HERE.

This season, we have added some new Tuesday late afternoon slots to provide families more options to get service.  Please note that we have moved!  Our new address is 3330 Washington Blvd., Suite 200.  We look forward to seeing kids in our new space! 

August Pause for Clothing Donations

During August, we will not be accepting clothing donations.  We are transitioning the store to fall/winter inventory and cannot process donated items.  Please hold on to your clothing in excellent condition until September when we re-open. Thank you for your understanding.

Accepting Clothing Donations Starting April 1

We have completed the switchover to the spring and summer season at The Clothesline and will start accepting clothing and shoe donations on April 1. For more information about our donation criteria and where to donate, please look at our flyer.

Kicking Off the Summer Season

We are excited to be starting our spring/summer season for clients at The Clothesline!  Families are welcome to start shopping in the store for their kids at the start of April through late July.  We have transitioned our store over to shorts and T-shirts in preparation for the warm weather to come.  If you don’t have time to shop in the store, fill in our on-line order form and we can pack the clothes for you to pick up later.  Looking forward to seeing families in the store again!
